So, I'm slaving away in my office...head into the TV room for a break. Who's already ON the couch, paw on remote, watching TV. The nerve. Not even the decency to look guilty. Hopefully I can wrestle the remote away before Dr. Phil comes on. Good thing I love him.
Pretty row of mason jars on my pantry cupboard shelf. Very charming in a country style kitchen. Lids are sprayed with a flat black paint, then baked at a low temperature to set. Tags are shapes cut from black construction paper, handwritten names in white pencil, then tied to the jar with a bit of twine. Organized and pretty.
Create a beautiful spice rack with finds from the thrift shop. I've repurposed a lovely oak plate rack by lining it with mason jars full of spices. Painting the lids of the mason jars a flat black helps modernize the look. Black paper tags keep the jars organized and the display has that nice handcrafted look. The spice colours create a lovely effect for any kitchen wall.
Pantry canister update. Add cutout black paper and white pencil to create a chalkboard style tag. Attach with a twist of twine.
